These terms and conditions govern the relationship between the operator of the LumCV service (MightCore, s.r.o.) and the user. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
LumCV is a web application for building professional resumes. The service allows creating, editing, and exporting resumes in PDF, DOCX, and plain-text formats. The core service is available without registration. Optional account registration enables cloud storage, cross-device access, and peer review features.
Without registration: Resume data is associated with a browser-based owner token stored as a cookie. Clearing browser data, cookies, or switching devices may result in permanent and irrecoverable loss of access to existing resumes. The operator bears no responsibility for such data loss.
With registration: Users may optionally create an account by providing a valid email address and password. A verification email will be sent from donotreply@lumcv.com. Registered users' data is stored in our database and accessible from any device. However, the operator does not guarantee permanent availability of data and is not liable for data loss due to technical failures, service discontinuation, or any other cause.
Unverified accounts may be automatically deleted after 30 days.
The service may only be used for lawful purposes related to resume creation and personal career documents. Automated abuse, scraping, or load testing without prior consent is prohibited.
Registered and verified users may opt-in to receive peer reviews on their resumes from other users. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge that other users will be able to view your resume content and provide feedback. The operator is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or appropriateness of any peer review feedback.
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy. All data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties without consent.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The operator expressly disclaims all liability for:
Users are solely responsible for maintaining their own backups of important data. We strongly recommend regularly exporting your resumes to PDF or DOCX format.
Users may delete their account at any time. The operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
The operator reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice. These terms may be updated, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.
